Ensemble Analytics Wins Smart Shipping Acceleration Fund to Advance AI-Powered Maritime Solutions

[London, 28/10/2024] – Ensemble Analytics has been selected for the Smart Shipping Acceleration Fund alongside ABP, enabling the development of innovative tools to optimise port operations and vessel scheduling. This achievement underscores Ensemble’s commitment to advancing digitalisation and sustainability in the maritime sector.

The funding will support Ensemble’s project titled “New Tools to Support Just-In-Time Arrivals at Ports.” The initiative aligns with global efforts to reduce emissions and operational costs by ensuring vessels arrive at ports when loading or unloading can commence, minimising idle time. Ensemble’s solution leverages advanced analytics and AI to deliver smarter scheduling and improved efficiency for port operators and shipping lines.

The UK government’s Smart Shipping Acceleration Fund, part of an £8 million investment to drive AI innovation, supports projects that enhance maritime operations, sustainability, and global competitiveness. Ensemble Analytics is proud to collaborate with key partners such as Associated British Ports (ABP) to bring this vision to life.
